What MiniMax H3 does

Three ways to direct a MiniMax H3 clip

MiniMax H3 accepts plain prompts, frame anchors, or a reference set, so you can choose how much of the result you want to control.

Create a MiniMax H3 video

Text to video

Describe the scene, action and camera in up to 7,000 characters and choose 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4 or 21:9.

First and last frame

Upload a start image, and optionally an end image, to anchor the composition and where the motion lands.

Multi-reference video

Combine up to 9 images, 3 videos (2-15 seconds each, 15 seconds in total) and 3 audio clips to guide characters, motion and sound.

How it works

From idea to a queued MiniMax H3 task

Every job runs through the same async video queue as the rest of the site, and results appear in My Videos.

1

Choose the input

Start from text, frames or references. Reference videos must be uploaded as MP4 or MOV files so their length can be measured.

2

Set length and quality

Pick 4-15 seconds and 768P or 2K. The price updates as you change settings or add reference media.

3

Generate and review

Submit the job, then open the finished clip from My Videos when it completes.

FAQ

MiniMax H3 questions

How much does MiniMax H3 cost?

The total is calculated once for the whole task. A 6-second clip costs 160 credits at 768P or 260 credits at 2K; a 10-second clip costs 267 or 434 credits. Reference videos are billed on their measured length at the same per-second rate, and images beyond the first five add a small fee. The workbench shows the exact total before you submit.

Which reference media can I use?

Up to 9 JPG, PNG or WebP images, up to 3 MP4 or MOV videos of 2-15 seconds each (15 seconds combined), and up to 3 MP3 or WAV audio clips. Audio needs at least one image or video in the same request.

Why must reference videos be uploaded?

Their length changes the price. The server measures each uploaded video before any credits are reserved, so you are never charged for a length you did not see.

What happens if a job fails?

Credits are reserved when the job starts and released automatically if generation fails.
