Your photo, regenerated at 2K or 4K

To improve image quality with AI here, upload your photo, describe the sharper detail you want in a prompt and choose 2K or 4K output. A regenerated image costs from 20 credits at 2K and from 30 credits at 4K.

This is image-to-image regeneration, not a pixel-faithful upscaler: the model redraws the photo from your reference and prompt, so text, logos and faces can change. Always compare the result with the original.

Credits per image-to-image generation with an uploaded photo and a prompt. The values come from the same configuration the generator uses to charge.

You need to sign in to change the model and resolution in the generator. The credit cost is shown before you generate.

Improve a photo in four steps

  1. Open the image generator and upload the photo. Check the file type and size limit for your model in the table above.
  2. Sign in, choose a model and select 2K or 4K. Review the credit cost shown before you generate.
  3. Paste one of the prompts below and adjust what should improve and what must stay the same.
  4. Compare the result with the original, especially text, logos, faces and hands. If an important detail changed, ask in the prompt to keep it and generate another version; each version costs credits again.

Three prompts to start from

These prompts are starting points, not verified output examples. Results differ by photo and model.

Blurry or low-resolution photo

Use the uploaded photo as the reference. Recreate it as a sharp, high-resolution image with fine detail. Keep the composition, framing, colors, people, objects and background exactly as they are. Reduce blur, noise and compression artifacts. Do not add, remove or move any element, and do not add text or logos.

Product photo for an online store

Use the uploaded product photo as the reference. Recreate it with crisp edges, clean surfaces and accurate color. Keep the product shape, proportions, material, label and camera angle unchanged, and copy any visible label text exactly. Keep the original background and crop. Do not add props, new text or logos.

Dark or grainy portrait

Use the uploaded portrait as the reference. Recreate it with balanced exposure, natural skin texture and less noise. Preserve the person’s facial features, expression, age, hairstyle, clothing, pose and framing. Do not smooth or retouch the skin, change the face or add accessories. Keep the original background.

Frequently asked questions

Can AI improve the quality of an image?

Yes. Here the model regenerates your photo at 2K or 4K from the reference and your prompt, which can make it sharper and more detailed. It adds plausible detail; it cannot recover information that is missing from the original.

Is improving image quality here free?

No. Each regenerated image costs credits: from 14 credits at 1K and from 30 credits at 4K; the table lists every model. Eligible new accounts receive 70 starter credits. Regional amounts differ, the credits expire 30 days after they are granted, and sign-ups with email and password are not eligible.

Is this the same as an AI upscaler?

No. An upscaler enlarges the pixels that already exist; this method regenerates the whole image from your photo and prompt. Use a dedicated upscaler when every pixel must stay identical, for example in a scanned document.

Will text, logos and faces stay the same?

No, not always. The model can redraw small text, logos, faces and hands. Ask in the prompt for them to stay unchanged and compare the result with the original before you use it.

What files can I upload?

JPG, PNG or WebP with every model in the table. The limit is 8 MiB or 30 MiB per file by model; the table shows the exact limit and GIF support.

Is this page made by Google or OpenAI?

No. Image to Image AI is an independent platform and is not affiliated with Google or OpenAI. Nano Banana and GPT Image are model names used to identify the models available in the generator.
